Vows and Silver Jubilee on the Feast of the Assumption

Brother Richard Chidothi pronounced his perpetual vows before Brother Joe Walton, provincial superior of the province of Southern Africa on Aug. 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The open-air ceremony on the campus of Mtendere Secondary School was led by Bishop Emmanuel Kanyama of Dedza.

It was attended by the Brothers in Malawi, a number of clergy (19 priests and 2 deacons), family members, staff members from several Marist schools, and friends of the Brothers.

On the same occasion, Brother Arthur Ganiza marked his silver jubilee of first profession, and three Brothers renewed their temporary vows.
