Water Project

Last year, in the newsletters (nr. 1 and 2) the Bureau of International Solidarity (BIS) presented the Water Project for the Nike Centre for the disabled, the brothers? ex-lepers clinic in Emene, Nigeria. Br. Francis Ohiri, responsible person of the centre, was looking for funds in order to provide the residents of the centre with a portable water system. Donations came from French schools mission collections, Coeur en Alert magazine?s readers and German and American donors totalling 19,543 USD.

The amount of money collected was over the project budget. The remainder was used to complete the work for the construction of the chapel that will serve the Nike Centre for ex-lepers.
