You are all brothers

Happy those who understand the necessity of coming to a halt, reviewing the roads traversed, celebrating the victories and taking up the challenges of the route in order to remain faithful to the mission entrusted us by the Lord. Strong in this certainty, the Conference of Religious of Brasil (CRB) organised, from 3 to 6 June, at Belo Horizonte (MG), the National Meeting of Lay Religious. The theme was: « The identity of Lay Religious in dialogue », and the slogan: « You are all brothers » (Mt 23:8)

The programme was organised in such a way as to create important times of sharing on the life, prayer, and mission of the brothers, in their various places of insertion, so that they may remain faithful to the vocation to which the Lord has called them.

The participants numbered 85, brothers from various religious congregations, assisted by Sister Márian Ambrosio, President of the National CRB, Brother Afonso Murad, fms, Father Vanildo Zugno, and the President of the Latin-American and Caribbean Conference of Religious Men and Women (CLAR), Brother Paulo Petry, FSC.

The Marist Union of Brasil (UMBRASIL) was represented by 23 brothers, full of joy, enthusiasm, boldness, and a great desire to remain faithful to the vocation given them by the Lord through Saint Marcellin Champagnat and our Good Mother Mary.
