Born: Cessnock, NSW, March 18, 1924
Entered Novitiate: 1946
2013 Community: Campbelltown
I grew up in Newcastle as one of 3 children. I boarded at St Joseph’s College. After the Leaving Certificate I worked in a chemist shop for a couple of years. I joined the Brothers and have been professed some 65 years. I have enjoyed a wide range of apostolates and appointments. Some highlights for me have included time at St Joseph’s College [I enjoyed the atmosphere created by the boarders]; working in the Juniorate and Novitiate, being Master of Postulants at Wahroonga and Winston Hills and years spent working with the young Brothers in Madang, PNG. I also loved gardening especially growing and tending the roses. Now I am not in real good health but enjoy the good care I receive at Campbelltown.
