During this last time at Pagewood, he lived first in the Randwick Community and then for the last 4 years, in the Daceyville Community. Don was also involved in adult education, teaching “The Enneagram” and “Spiritual Journaling”.

Don was always upbeat and maintained contact with his former students and their families. He was a faithful and loyal friend, keeping in contact via cards, phone calls, attending Weddings, Baptisms and the like. In more recent times, his Facebook page had many ‘friends’. The quality that endeared him to people was the simple, straightforward and down-to-earth way he related with them.
