Peter (Albanus) Salta
Time of Death:
Peter had been unwell for some time and for the past two years had been undergoing dialysis three times a week. In August after a series of hospital visits it was decided to move his to the Campbelltown community where there is 24 hour care available. More recently, Peter was also diagnosed with cancer and the pain involved became increasingly unbearable for him. So two weeks ago, Peter decided to cease dialysis and let the resulting renal failure to take its course. This led to semi consciousness during his last week and he died peacefully at 2am on Saturday December 22. At the time of his death, Peter was 84 years of age and in the 67th year of his religious life.
