Victor Emmanuel Fernando

Bro. Victor Emmanuel Fernando passed away on Thursday, the 1st June around 9.50 a.m. in the Marcellin Nivasa, Negombo. He was 67 years old at his death.

During the last several days his condition was not satisfactory. He had stopped taking any solid food and his liquid food intake was very minimal. He had difficulty in breathing. The doctor who visited him advised the Brothers in the Community to keep him peaceful.

There was no improvement in spite of the prompt medical attention. He passed away peacefully.

The remains will lie at Maris Stella College Chapel on Thursday the 1st June from 6 p.m. onwards. Holy Mass will be celebrated on Friday, the 2nd June at 2.30 p.m. Thereafter, the cortege will leave to the General Cemetery, Negombo, Marist Brothers section.
