Congratulations to the First Tailoring Graduation Group
We are thrilled to celebrate the graduation of 22 talented young ladies and gentlemen who have completed our tailoring course. This initiative has provided school dropouts with valuable skills that will sustain them throughout life and pave the way for their future success. 🌟
The majority of these students come from non-Marist schools in the surrounding areas, showing the broad reach and inclusivity of our program. This achievement is part of the “New Horizons for a Transformative Education Model,” funded by Misean Cara and implemented by a network of 21 schools across Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. 🌍
The significance of locally managed Income Generating Activities (IGAs) is profound, impacting the socio-economic landscape of these nations and creating positive social change, especially for low-income students. IGAs have demonstrated transformative effects, supporting educational initiatives and fostering economic resilience.
Let’s celebrate these young graduates who are now equipped with skills that will put them on the map in life! 🧵✂️
