Marist Community North Sydney

The six regular community members continue to reach to “the round earth’s imagined corners.” That is to say nothing of the regular stream of visitors from those same “imagined corners”. John Luttrell lectures in Church History at Strathfield and Pymble as well as working on a biography of the late Cardinal Gilroy.

Peter Corr is in charge of Marist College North Shore and though he is no longer on the Provincial Council he has not ceased to be involved in a great variety of activities including the College immersion experiences in parts various.

Michael Hill makes a significant contribution to the College with his counselling experience as well as having a small private practice.

Paul Murphy spends much of his time and energy in fundraising for the Manila Kuya Centre and helping the Thai-based "Living Water Foundation" which provides nutrition and education for illegal Burmese migrant children in Thai border camps and Bangkok ghettos.

Nick Howlett has been engaged in overseeing the refurbishment of new Marist Mission Centre in the grounds of our College at Ashgrove, bringing years of experience to his work.

Tony Butler still travels to Penshurst Marist four days a week where he engages in a variety of pastoral activities such as prayer, presence, writing, talking at assemblies and overseeing the music for the College Masses.
