National Vocations Week

National Vocation Awareness Week (NVAW) is an annual week‐long celebration of the Catholic Church in Australia dedicated specifically to promote vocations to the consecrated life, diaconate and priesthood, through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.

This week the Vocations Team is releasing a series of short videos on www.maristvocations.com, aimed at creating a greater awareness of Marist Consecrated life, through the personal stories of Brothers. Thanks to Brothers Mark Paul, Darren Burge and Patrick Connell, who kindly agreed to share their story. Other presentations will shortly follow based on the themes of prayer, ministry and community.

We hope the personal sharing of our Brothers will inspire students and young people to better appreciate our Marist way of life and the unique call God has given to each of us.
