Provincial advisory board for child Protection commission
This commission and its members were omitted in the 2013/2014 Provincial Appointments and Location. We regret this omission. The members of the Commission include:

Budget for provincial commissions 2013/2014
This is to remind Chairpersons of Provincial Commissions to submit their budgets of 2013/2014 for possible approval. Dateline for submission is 18th December, 2013.
Thus far, the Provincial and Council have only received budgets from the following Commissions:
Vocation Commission
Identity/Laity Commission
Publication Commission
Commissions without budgetary allocation may find it difficult to execute their activities.

Provincial emeritus arrives Nigeria for holidays/chapter
Provincial Emeritus, Br. Christian Mbam, fms, is currently in the country for holidays/chapter. He arrived Wednesday, and currently he is at the Provincial House.
We wish Br. Christian restful holidays.
Two novices end apostolic work
Two of our novices from Kumasi, Israel Atakwu, and Magnus Osim, just concluded their apostolic/community experiences. They are due to return to the Novitiate on Saturday 7th
December, 2013. We congratulate them for the successful completion of their apostolic/community experiences. We also wish them safe journey back to Ghana.
Phase III of chapter preparatory meeting ends
The Chapter Preparatory Commission ended Phase III of its preparation with the election of Chapter Capitulants. The election result has been published in another update. The commission will now move to Phase IV which is animation of Chapter Capitulants, preparation of Instrumentum Labores (working documents), and other logistics arrangements.
Br. Ernesto Sanchez our contact General Councillor will be present at the Chapter. He will arrive Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday 2rd January, 2014.
Also Br. Joe Udeaja and Br. Francis Usoh will arrive Nigeria Friday 27th December, 2013.
We wish them all safe trip.
We are yet to receive the travel itinerary of our Ghana Capitulant.
