Province of Brazil South-Amazonia

With an attentive focus on the fundamental aspects of children's development, the Colleges and Social services Units of the Brazil Sul-Amazonia Province promoted on March 16, at the PUCRS, a great Formative Encounter for early childhood educators and beginner’s level. About 540 professionals working in 21 units of the Province participated in the activities aimed at training teachers in their areas of expertise.

The main focus of the program was the conference Current Perspectives in Child Studies: Educational Implications, given by Manuel Sarmento, who presented his studies in the field of Sociology.

The dialogue and the exchange of experiences were an important point during the programme, which continued with the realization of nine workshops on different topics such as: Educational Environment, Pedagogical Documentation, Play and Nature, Literary Titles, as well as best practices stories about projects didactic and interdisciplinary. Throughout the event, the protagonists were the participants themselves, who presented their experiences and discussed the possibility of expansion and exchange of ideas.
