Opening of the newly-renovated home for senior Brothers in North Fitzroy

On Friday May 3 about 40 people ( Brothers and Lay Marists) gathered in a spirit of conviviality to celebrate the blessing and opening of the newly-renovated home for senior Brothers in North Fitzroy.

Our Parish priest Father Michael Casey presided in the Blessing ritual after Des gave a brief history of the Brothers’ presence in this neighbourhood over the years. Robert Simeoni, the architect was present to receive the recognition and congratulations on an outstanding achievement.

Jeff (Provincial) concluded the formalities with a vote of thanks. The pictures below capture the spirit of the evening.
