Marist Camp report 2016-2017
This year’s Marist Camp gathering coincided with the Marist bicentenary. Our campers and leaders who converged at Kutama College were very privileged to be part of this grand celebration of 200 years of dedicated global Marist apostolic work.
Today it gives us great honour and pleasure to share with you the beautiful moments we lived at Kutama College from the 26th December 2016-4th January 2017 with the campers. Some of the campers we hosted this year were orphans, some coming from very disadvantaged family and living in extremely difficult conditions. More than the sharing of food and clothing we gave to the campers they appreciated most our pedagogy of presence, our readiness to be there for them as they went through the various camp activities at the mission.
