Admiration and gratitude for the educators who have had an effect on their lives

Former students of the Marist College El Salvador de Manatí met together to celebrate the 30th anniversary in 2005-2006 of their graduation.
Here is the programme of the celebration of those who graduated in 1975-1976. They spent an entire day at their ?alma mater? with their families:

* Eucharist in thanksgiving to the Lord, the Good Mother and Father Champagnat in the beautiful chapel that did not exist at the time of their studies.
* An audiovisual presentation to relive these happy years in seeing their faces as children and adolescents.
* Family celebration around the able where toasts were given to happy days.
* A very rich moment of spontaneous and free sharing during a good part of the afternoon recounting anecdotes and laughing with former companions and teachers, a number of whom were brothers.
What a great, familial and Marist reunion for remembering the good old days!

Some live on the enchanted island of Puerto Rico while others came from overseas. They had also invited brothers and teachers from the past, some of whom even live in Spain. ?Here is the fruit of the admiration and the gratitude for these educators who had an effect on the lives of these students in a Marist College!?

This was like an oasis in their lives when they recalled and lived values such as simplicity, family spirit, devotion to the Virgin Mary, gratitude, solidarity, etc.
It was truly an historic day for all those who took part!

The brothers and the teachers present were also encouraged in seeing the fruits of the Marist seed planted so many years ago.
