Brother Leandro Cimadon

In March 2014, Brother Leandro Cimadon from the Province of Brasil Centro-Sul, announced his decision to make perpetual profession and invited the Brothers to the celebration. Brother Leandro turned 30 in February. In 2008 he completed his formation in Florianopolis with the Course of Religious Sciences. Since then he has worked in youth and vocations ministry in the city of Chapecó, Santa Catarina. His great dynamism and balance is deeply touching the young people from the city and the diocese. According to the testimony of Bishop Manoel João Francisco, Brother is an important presence in the pastoral work of the diocese. For this reason he personally came to congratulate him on the day of his perpetual profession.

The ceremony was celebrated in his home parish – São Jorge, in Passos Maia, Santa Catarina. Over forty Brothers came to support Brother Leandro’s gesture of faith and devotion in the festive Mass celebrated on May 24, 2014, at 7:00 pm. The church was crowded, and there were a significant number of young people. The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Marlo Flávio Tessaro, pastoral coordinator of the Diocese of Chapecó. Five priests concelebrated as an expression of appreciation and gratitude towards Brother Leandro. Brother Provincial, Joaquim Sperandio, received the vows on behalf of Brother Superior General.
