Champagnat Presence in Peshawar

St. Mary’s High School, Peshawar (Pakistan) has been in existence for more than 50 years. Marist Brothers have been administering the school close to 30 years. It is a big school and predominantly Muslim populated school. It is one of the leading and contributing schools in the Diocesan Schools in the Islamabad and Rawalpindi diocese.

For the first time ever in its history, on the feast of St. Marcellin Champagnat, with the initiative of the three Brothers present, two large posters of St. Marcellin (reproduction from Goyo) are placed in the two main areas of the school where students, teachers and parents gather the most.

We congratulate Brothers, Farancis, Sunil and Remi for this worth imitative and for present a great educationist to the teachers of St. Mary’s and Saint of the youth to the young students at St. Mary’s. May the presence of Champagnat, bring many blessings to the School, especially to the young people.
