Chapter of the Province of Canada
The Marist Brothers of Canada held their provincial chapter on 30, 31 May and 1 June. A chapter offers the opportunity for looking back over the previous three years of government and animation following the nomination of a new provincial, in this case Br Gérard Bachand. It is also the occasion for electing the councillors who, along with the provincial, will see to the implementation of the decisions and recommendations of the assembly.
It was also an opportunity for living a time of brotherhood which we extended to our lay «guests». A brotherhood intended to be the expression of the dearest wish of our founder, Saint Marcellin Champagnat.
The new government for 2014-2017 :
