Presentation of the Lord, feast of Consecrated Life
On the occasion of the feast of the Presentation of the Lord, on the 2nd February 2006, during the celebration of the Eucharist, six new novices: Brothers Cleverson Xavier dos Santos, Everton Luiz Ribeiro, Henrique Duarte, Leandro Lanzarini, Moacir Besing and Rafael AntĂ´nio Garaffa were accepted into the Mary, Mother of the Church Novitiate, in Campinas, SP.
In an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm and Marist simplicity, these new novices, accompanied by their respective ?godfathers?, came to take on this new step as a response to the call of the love of God. They were welcomed by the Brother Provincial. They received the support of the presence of their confrères and of other people, the encouragement of their friends? words and of the witness to fidelity to the Lord by those who have preceded them in the Marist charism.
On this occasion, several of their confrères celebrated the anniversary of their entrance into the Novitiate as well.
A festive, fraternal lunch completed this beautiful and significant morning that was marked by its Marist atmosphere and Marial spirit.
