Province of Madagascar: Annual retreat

Thirty brothers from the Province of Madagascar took part in the annual retreat which took place at the Mahatamana Marist Center in Antsirabe from 06 to 12 August 2023. Father Erick RAHARIVELO, an Assumptionist, led the retreat on the theme “MISSION and SANCTIFICATION”. Through teachings based on biblical accounts, the preacher insisted on the mission of the consecrated religious as a path to holiness.

At the end of the retreat, the Brothers RANAIVO ANDRIAMADY Roger Giscard and RAMBOATIANA Andry Niaina renewed their vows. Brother Maminiaina Michel, Provincial, received them on behalf of Brother Superior General. Brothers in perpetual vows who had participated in the retreat also “renewed” their consecration as a way of expressing their commitment to Marist life and mission.
