Registration closes in February

Next July Sydney will welcome hundreds of thousands of young pilgrims from overseas and from across Australia, for World Youth Day. In the days leading up to the World Youth Day activities, the Marist Brothers will be holding an international festival in Sydney.

The Marist International Festival is a four-day retreat-style experience. The Festival Program will begin at The Hermitage, Mittagong, the spiritual heartland of the Australian Marist Brothers. During the remaining days of the Festival youth forums, seminars, workshops, conversation spaces and prayer and liturgy will take place at St Josephs College Hunters Hill.

The Marist International Festival is an initiative of the Marist Brothers, however all those involved in the Marist family are invited to attend. The festival is open to all branches of the Marist Family, Marist Fathers, Marist Sisters, Marist Missionary Sisters, Marist Lay People; in fact, any one with a connection to Marist Ministry. The Marist International Festival is open to all Marists between the ages of 16 and 35.
