United as a Global Charismatic Family

From 25 to 29 November, 40 Brothers and lay Marists will be meeting at the General House to take part in the gathering of Province Volunteer Coordinators from all Administrative Units of the Institute.

“The aim of this first gathering of Province Volunteer Coordinators (CPVs) is to encourage and give drive to interprovincial volunteering in the Institute through the setting up of the CPV Network”, said Br Valdícer Fachi, Director of the Department of Collaboration for Mission, International (Cmi), the organiser of the event. “There will be moments for sharing best practice and for training, so as to develop a common vision, language and practices for receiving and sending volunteers. We are making our contribution to building a Global Charismatic Family through volunteering”, he added.

Also attending the meeting will be Brothers Ernesto Sanchez, Superior General, Luis Carlos Gutiérrez, Vicar General, and Oscar Martín Vicario, General Councillor, who will present the overall vision of the life and mission of the Institute and emphasise the idea of working in synergy and in networks. Others from offices of the General Administration will also participate.
