Members of youth movements from Norandina participate in training days

110 young people from the Colombian sector participated, from August 14 to 18, in a training program that allows participants to learn about the methodology, the process and the experiences of the Marist Youth Pastoral Movements that exist in the Norandina Province: SEMAR, Amigos de la Marcha, REMAR and TIEMAR (SART). Students, alumni, teachers, coordinators, and active members of pastoral movements have participated.

This training strengthens spirituality and training as animators. Likewise, it qualifies the activity of Marist child and youth ministry, through a formative experience, with an emphasis on spirituality and accompaniment.

The activities of spiritual revitalization were in charge of the scholastic brothers and the co-direction of national evangelization. The first day oversaw Brother Raúl Echeverry, who directed the spirituality workshop.

On the second day, Father Arley Guarín began the day with the formation “Canta y juega Marista” (Sing and play, Marist), which he later complemented with talks and activities that encourage the young people/animators to carry out better accompaniment wherever they are.

The third and fourth days were key in the methodology of the process that must be done as an animator, since this helps young people to build themselves as animators; from the four axes that this process manages in the relationship with oneself, with others, with nature and finally with spirituality; and in this way accompany and guide others.

At the end of the activity, the missioning celebration was held, where the organizers proposed a reflection to the participants about what they had experienced, with the hope that this message would be replicated in the Marist works of the cities to which they belong.
