100 years!

Brother Zósimo was born on 19 June 1919 in Valladolid, Spain. So, this week he celebrated 100 years of life with a function held in his honour in the Champagnat Residence in Guatemala, with brothers attending from all the communities of the country.

Brothers Ernesto Sánchez, Superior General, and Luis Carlos Gutiérrez, Vicar General, sent a message to thank Brother Zósimo for his Marist vocation.

Brother Zósimo has lived in many social contexts, including the civil war in Spain and the expulsion of the Brothers from Cuba. He witnessed the birth of the Province of Central America where he was Provincial in 1961.
