A New La Valla
In the 22nd General Chapter that will take place in September 2017, there will be a total of 79 capitulants – 32 by right and 47 by election.
Members by right include the Brother Superior General, the former Brother Superior General, the Brother Vicar General and the Councillors General who are in office at the time the Chapter opens, and the Brothers Provincial (C 140.1 y 140.2).
As a specific way of respecting the principle of representation, the number of elected delegates will be 15 more than the number of those who are members by right.
In his last letter to provincials, Superior General Brother Emili announced the complete list of participants that will attend the 22nd General Chapter in Colombia. Below is the list, in the order of the administrative units.
