Cruz del Sur executives participate in exchange program in Brazil Sul-Amazônia

As part of the Embracing Childhood Project, from August 8 to 12, the Education and Innovation Team carried out an Initial and primary training management session, called “MARIST EXCHANGE”.

This instance has been developed, for several years, with the Marist Education Team of the Brasil Sul-Amazônia Province, in Porto Alegre, to generate a learning experience and deepen the approach we have promoted about Active Pedagogies.

Fourteen schools from the Cruz del Sur Province took part in the training program. From Uruguay participated the centers of Zorrilla, Santa Maria, San Luis (Durazno) and San Luis (Pando). From Argentina participated the centers of San Luis (La Plata), San José (Pergamino), Champagnat (CABA), Inmaculada (CABA), Manuel Belgrano (CABA), Instituto Peralta Ramos (Mar del Plata), San José (Morón), Nuestra Señora de Luján (Luján), San Rafael (Mendoza) and Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Rosario).

The educators visited different institutions, among them the Marist Schools Ipanema, Rosario, Asunción, San Luis, and Graças, experiencing direct contact with children and teachers, under the theoretical frameworks that support the Project: Pedagogical Documentation and Educating Spaces, Projects, Articulation from Literacy.

The Education and Innovation team of the Cruz del Sur Province is very grateful to the authorities of the Sul-Amazônia Province for their warm welcome, their professionalism, and the organization of the event, and extends its recognition as a team to all the institutions that participated in this training event.
