Marist Provinces with a presence in Spain

The 4 Marist Provinces with a presence in Spain – Compostela, Ibérica, L’Hermitage and Mediterránea –plan a common slogan for their work during the course of 2014-15. They want it to be a sign of the union which exists in the mission of all the works of education.

The slogan chosen for this period is OPENING DOORS. Proposals have been made for a poster, a song for infant-primary classes and another for secondary-university college, a presentation and how to work on each of these elements, so as to help further the work of these centres.

The educational works have to carry out this activity of openness and movement of which the slogan speaks, having a mind to go further, not staying where they are, and blocking the doorways which lead us closer to reality, the children and youth of today and the society in which we live.

Opening doors also invites us to search for new keys which can help us in the process of opening up, and also to open our hearts to the Gospel, to the Word of God, which connects with Life and Marist spirituality as a concrete way of molding it in our daily life.
