Meeting of Community Animators of the Central America Province

On April 5, 6 and 7, the Provincial Meeting of the Community Animators of Central America took place in Guatemala. This meeting not only brought together the Community Animators, but also a group of lay people committed to the animation of communities, who demonstrate engagement and collaboration within the Marist family.

One of the most notable aspects of the meeting was the focus on the management of feelings and emotions, a topic of great relevance in personal and community development. Led by Fr. Arnaldo Pangrazzi, Camillian, the objective was to explore and understand our emotions, learn to manage them, and develop skills to accompany others in this process. Through clear presentations and practical exercises in small groups, topics such as the dimensions of personality, the “wounds” of life and the role of feelings in our vital growth were addressed.

Special attention was taken to the person’s basic feelings: joy, sadness, fear and anger. The manifestations, their impact on personal growth, and their interaction were explored within the framework of the Enneagram, emphasizing the art of using them appropriately for individual and collective well-being.

In addition, Brother HipĂłlito Perez, Provincial, shared the most relevant events of the provincial programming, and encouraged everyone to actively participate in them. Specific issues of the communities were also discussed, such as the functioning of the Province and the evolution of brothers with health problems.

The Meeting was an enriching experience that strengthened commitment and collaboration within the Marist community, reaffirming the importance of personal growth and solidarity in our educational and evangelizing mission.
