Regional Joint action strengthens the Marist Life and Mission

In March, the Region South America celebrates three years of action.  Founded officially in 2016, it has the premise to strengthen internationality in the Marist Institute.  It is the time to recognize and to give impulse to the synergy movement and of cooperation of the Administrative Units responsible for the Marist Mission in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.   

Horizons of the acting of the Region 

The proposal of the Region is to increase projects and common initiatives, which will fortify the Marist evangelizing Charism, with presence in the overall series of works that promote life by means of education, health, social work and missionary action in the whole continent.  Among the objectives, there is the one of identifying and developing charismatic leaderships and the care of the social, cultural, environmental, pastoral and economic dimension, guaranteeing the perennial nature of the mission.   

That synergic development of the Units also aims at collaborating for the mission in a solidarity manner and with joint responsibility, always attentive to the signs of the realities of the world to be a transforming presence in all the spaces of Marist action.
