Lawrence Perera

Rev. Bro. Lawrence Henry Perera passed away on Sunday 16th July around 6.00 a.m. at the Povincialate, Marcellin Nivesa, Negombo. He was 88 years old at the time of his death.

During the last seven years he was bedridden. Since last week he stopped taking any solid food and his liquid food intake was very minimal. He also had difficulty in breathing. Early this morning he passed away peacefully.

The remains will lie at Maris Stella College Chapel on Sunday the 16th July from 7 p.m. onwards. Holy Mass will be celebrated on Monday, the 17th July at 2.30 p.m. Thereafter, the cortege will leave for the General Cemetery, Negombo, Marist Brothers section.
