The Brother Provincial, the Marist Brothers of East Asia Province, and the Community of Marist Brothers – Dadiangas, General Santos City deeply regret to inform you of the death of Br. Robert Bernard McGovern who died on the 19th of May 2021 at the age of 91 and in the 72nd year of his religious life.
Your pious suffrages are requested for the eternal repose of his soul.
The wake will be at St. Marcellin Champagnat Chapel, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, Marist Avenue, General Santos City, Philippines. After three days of wake and prayer services, his remains will be brought to Immaculate Conception Novitiate, Tamontaka, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao (May 24, 2021 at 4:00AM).
Burial Mass will be on May 24, 2021 at 9:00AM at Marist Brothers Cemetery, followed by Internment.
