Festival of Harvest for people in Tamil Nadu – Trichy

About 250 people took part in the Pongal celebration ( Festival of Harvest for people in Tamil Nadu) organized by Operation Rainbow, a project of Marcellin Trust that cares for people, particularly, children affected by HIV/AIDS on 8th January 2012 at Marist Brothers' House in Trichy . Various sports and cultural events were conducted to entertain the crowd and the winners were awarded. New cloths were distributed to all the children and their parents during the celebration.

Dr. Gnanatilakan, Br. Jeffrey Crowe, Br. Bill Connell were the special guests.

A group of students both from St. Joseph's College, Trichy and Australian Catholic University, Australia took part in the celebration and enthralled the group with their singing and dancing performances. Altogether it was a cheerful and memorable gathering.
