Marist lived experience of a bomb blast in peshawar, pakistan

PESHAWAR: The massive Khyber Road bombing that targeted the offices of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Friday led to closure of most of the educational institutions in the provincial metropolis, some for security reasons
and others due to blockade of roads by the security forces.

Saint Mary?s School situated right on the corner of both Khyber Road and Warsak Road was partially damaged in the huge explosion and was shut till November 23 for repair. The Peshawar Model, Peshawar Public, Frontier Model, Warsak Model, City School, Iqra Rozatul Atfal and dozens of other institutions remained closed on Friday.

Br. Devasiri Fernando, Principal of St. Mary?s High School, Peshawar writes .. You can see a video of part of the
damage ….. have a look at my office …. if I had been there … all the flying glass would have killed me …. many
pieces of glass were stuck in the wall …. THANK GOD!, I was late because of washing the plates after breakfast.
