Year of Consecrated Life – 29 November 2014 to 2 February 2016

February 2, 2016 the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, marks the end of the Church's Year of Consecrated Life. There has been a number of events which brothers have participated in during this year, including diocesan celebrations and thanksgiving masses, two Marist family vocations Q&A's with the other three branches, five vocations dinners around the country for young men, the recent gathering of younger brothers in the Oceania region, and for each of us, the daily witnessing and living out of our vocation in so many generous and life-giving ways.

Pope Francis said, “I want to say one word to you and this word is joy. Wherever consecrated people are, there is always joy!” This simple 3-minute video which focuses on the particular gift of our vocation as religious brothers in the Church, offers a glimpse of that joy – with a Marist flavour.
