General Councillors conclude their visit to the Province of Ibérica
From April 21 to 30, Brothers João Carlos do Prado and Ben Consigli, General Councillors, links of the Council with the Region of Europe, concluded their visit to the Province of Ibérica. The visit to the Province had begun in March. In this last stage, the first few days they went to Romania to visit the social work “Sf. Marcellin Champagnat” in Bucharest, where they were able to spend several days with the educators and children of the center. They also took the opportunity to meet with the community of Marist Brothers who live there.
Back in Spain, they spent several days in Madrid and took part in the meeting of community animators. They also had the opportunity to meet with a Marist community of brothers and laypeople in Zaragoza.
During the last weekend of April, they shared the path that the participants in the course for new educators are taking, with the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Edelvives publishing house. At the same time, they spoke about “Marist leadership in the world” with the animators of the Lardero Youth Ministry at their camp preparation meeting. Finally, they met with the Provincial Council of Ibérica in Madrid before returning to Rome.
