Inter-American Conference of Provincials

At the invitation of Br Horacio Bustos (Provincial of Cruz del Sur and member of the Permanent Council CIAP), the brothers forming part of the Animation Team of the Formation Program 2015 met from 09 to 12 September in Bolivia. This program is intended for young Brothers of the Provinces of America preparing for Perpetual Profession. The meeting was held in the Interprovincial novitiate of Cochabamba. After a fraternal welcome, we dedicated ourselves to organization, getting to know one another and visiting the place where the program will be run:    the “House of Youth” (belonging to the Faith and Joy movement), in the city of Cochabamba.

The Animation Team is composed of Brothers Rodrigo Cuesta Guerra (América Central), Anacleto Peruzzo (Brasil Centro-Sul) and Romidio Siveris (Rio Grande do Sul). During this first meeting, the team also counted on the presence and collaboration of Brothers Raúl Schönfeld, Master of Novices, and Horacio Bustos who had called us together for this mission.

The little monument at the entrance to the House of Youth inspired the logo and the slogan for this program: “Take heart in hand… to renew the gift of our consecration”. We were filled with joy at the response given for this Itinerary 2015 on the part of the Provinces of America: they have enrolled 20 young brothers coming from 9 Provinces and one District.

The Team warmly welcomes the challenge presented to it and has decided to place all its personal gifts at the service of the young brothers taking part. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and the aid of the Good Mother to help the program give glory to God and profit to his sons, our young brothers.
