July 31: Launching of the International MYM Network
The International Marist Youth Ministry Network will be launched during the Marist International Festival on July 31, the last day of the International Gathering of the Marist Youth.

“With the International Network of MYM, we want to foster synergy and promote the interaction of all those involved, providing a broad vision of Marist life and mission through a common project. This is being part of a Global Charismatic Family”, said Brother Ernesto Sanchez, Superior General.

Dear Marist of Champagnat.
We are approaching a very special time for the youth. From August 1st to 6th, the city of Lisbon will welcome young people from all nations for World Youth Day (WYD), the largest gathering of Catholic youth in the world. They will be days of much sharing, prayer, catechesis, celebration of young people with Pope Francis.
A week earlier, from July 26th to 29th, young Marist will also be gathered in Portugal to participate in the International Marist Youth Meeting (IGMY), and then there will be the Marist International Festival (MIF) on July 31st, to integrate all the Marists of Champagnat who will participate in WYD.
To take advantage of this large presence of young people, collaborators and Marist Brothers present in Lisbon, the Secretariat for Education and Evangelization will officially launch the International Network for Marist Youth Ministry during the Marist Festival. Since it is not possible to count on the physical presence of all the Marists of Champagnat, there will be a live online transmission so that young Marists from the most varied Provinces of the world can be connected in this important milestone of the Institute.
