As reinforced at the last assembly of the Marist International Network of Institutions of Higher Education, we want to move forward and identify points of connection between our institutions, with the aim of growing big from our networked actions.

  1. I Pastoral Meeting of the Marist International Network of Institutions of Higher Education

When: Aug 25, 2021

Topic: Developments of the Global Education Pact in the pastoral methodology of Marist HEIs.

Goals: Reflect upon the Global Education Pact and its claims to the Marist HEIs; connect the Pastoral areas of the Marist HEIs.

Audience: Pastoral Teams of the Marist HEIs, Observatories of the HEIs (and the like), teaching staff, leaders, Marist Brothers, religious, priests.

  1. Internationalization in the Marist Network of Higher Education Institutions

When: Sep 29, 2021

Format: Online, via Zoom

Topic: Internationalization of higher education for the Marist Network of Higher Education Institutions

Goals: Share good internationalization practices in HEIs; provide opportunities for internationalization of higher education in the post-pandemic period.

Audience: Leaders of the Marist HEIs, internationalization teams.

  1. Youth Observatory Online Meeting

When: Oct 14, 2021

Format: Online, via Zoom

Topic: Youths in the Marist DNA: the culture of meeting contemporary generations by connecting with Youth Observatories

Goals: Share existing good practices in the Youth observatories of the Marist HEIs; explore Youths in the light of the research carried out by the University’s structures; propose strategies for joint action and sharing of actions among HEIs.

Audience: Pastoral teams, members of the IES Youth Observatory, Marist Youth Ministry (Marist Schools and Universities), HEI leaders.

  1. Innovation and development in Marist HEI

When: Nov 17, 2021

Format: Online, via Zoom

Time: 9 AM – 11 AM (Brasília date and time)*

Topic: Innovation and entrepreneurship within the Third Mission in Marist HEIs: HEIs as vectors in the social and economic development process of the society where they operate.

Goals: Reflect upon the post-pandemic scenario from the perspective of Innovation and Development for Higher Education; think up ideas for the planning of HEIs, considering the existing changes in new teaching and research models and the impact of media, technology and interactivity in the knowledge society.

Audience: Leaders of the Marist HEIs, members of the General Government and the Provinces.

  1. 10th Meeting of Representatives of the Marist International Network of Institutions of Higher Education

When: Apr 26 – 30, 2022

Format: On-site at PUCRS – Porto Alegre / RS – Brazil

Goals: Present and validate the Network organization model for the Network of Marist HEIs; promote spaces for continuing education and reflections for Higher Education; propose and develop projects.

Audience: Leaders of the Marist HEIs, members of the General Government and the Provinces.
