On Nov. 12, four Marist Brothers committed their lives to God for life by the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. The ceremony took place at Marist Secondary School in Dedza, Malawi. The main celebrant was Bishop Emmanuel Kanyama of Dedza Diocese.

The provincial superior, Brother Norbert Mwila, expressed "thanks to the almighty God for giving us a bicentenary gift" of the four brothers who made final vows on that day.  He advised the finally professed brothers to be faithful to Christ by fulfilling their call in the footsteps of Champagnat our Founder.
