Two Brothers make religious professions on Institute?s 199 anniversary

Two Brothers made their religious professions in Bolivia on Jan. 2, the same day the Institute celebrated its 199th anniversary since its founding.

Provincial Brother Saturnino Alonso received the vows of Brothers Óscar Chávez Viruez and Gadiel López Poiquí, both Bolivians of San José de Chiquitos, on behalf of the general superior.

Br Óscar pronounced his first religious vows while Br Gadiel made his perpetual profession.

The celebration took place in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

All Marist communities of Bolivia and their animators participated as well as the families of the Brothers.​
