We?re Celebrating 10 Years

In 1996 the first steps were taken to study the reality of life in the barrio in order to respond to the real needs. A commission composed of members of the schools of Santa María, Zorrilla and Casa San José obtained the initial funds for the first stages of the infrastructure.

In 1997 several commissions divided up the work and the walls were going up. On October 3, 1998 the installations were opened, the Work Team was created and on October 8th the first children entered the project. In 2001 function rooms were constructed where the business economics class and the plastics workshop are found.

We want to celebrate these 10 years of life recognizing and appreciating the effort of all those who gave their support in time, talent and resources.
