World Congress on Catholic education

In 2015 the Congregation for Catholic Education celebrates two significant anniversaries in the educational mission of the Church: the fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration on Catholic education "Gravissimum Educationis" and the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Apostolic Constitution on Catholic Universities "Ex Corde Ecclesiae".

The Congregation for Catholic Education desires that these anniversaries be an opportunity to examine the fundamental issues of education, in collaboration with schools and universities as well as Bishop’s Commissions, religious Congregations, associations and educators.

Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that from 18 to 21 November 2015, a World Congress on Catholic education will be held in Rome. Its aim is to share experiences and look to the future with new missionary zeal.

We provide the above information in order to ensure your welcome presence at the Congress. In due time, this Congregation will communicate the detailed program and registration procedures, publishing them through the website www.educatio.va
