Br. Michael Malachy Nwanna was born on 25th December, 1935 at Azaraegbelu Emekuku Owerri Imo State, Nigeria.

Started Marist Nursery/Primary School, Ezzagu, 1989. He stayed at Sacred Heart Community Ezzagu, up until 2011
Retired to St. Joseph’s Community Uturu, 2011
He died on Saturday 21st February, 2015

Br. Malachy, as he was fondly called, suffered from leg cancer for several years. He died at Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu after suffering from liver and heart failure.
