Brothers host Prayer and Pasta Evenings for senior students at Marist College of Canberra
One of the strong traditions over the years at Marist has been the senior students evening with the Brothers Community. In recent times this event has become known as the Prayer and Pasta evening.
Each term, senior students are invited to join the Brothers Community for evening prayer and share a meal. The Prayer and Pasta evenings allow the boys an opportunity to join with the Brothers for evening prayer and share a meal with them, to take some time out of their busy lives and to experience something of our Marist Community life outside of normal business hours.
These evenings also provide the Brothers with an opportunity to extend our hospitality to senior students, to thank them for the leadership they exercise in their final year, and get to know them a little better. The quality of the homemade pasta has been testified to by many a senior student over the years as some of the images indicate!
