Noviciate of Matola

A wonderful boat experience at Bilene

class=imgshadowFrom 25th to 26th May, 2013, the novitiate community had a picnic at Bilene. Brothers Norbert and Simeon accompanied the novices. One part was dedicated to swimming in the lagoon you see at the background. After a good swim, we had this photo inside the engine boat on Sunday after Mass. From your left  you see Steven Chinsolo, followed by Moffat and the third was Steven Banda, the fourth is a boat driver. Then the very first one on the right hand-side is Chifundo with a finger on the mouth admiring the clean beach, followed by Steven Muleba.  We had water problem as the pump was stolen but this was nothing compared to breathtaking experience of the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning experiences. In fact at the end all the novices suggested the following outing ought to start from Friday evening so that we have a full day Saturday and return only on Sunday. Our memories cannot afford to forget the wonderful experiences of this day. It makes you come in touch with nature with a little tourist cultural shock, a fruit of globalization, to our novices born far away from diverse peoples sea and ocean leisure activities. Long Live Bilene experience! Long Live Solemnity of the Holy Trinity! Now that we are back in the novitiate, the nostalgia keeps lingering in our minds and hearts, looking forward to another opportunity to come soon. It was a time of relaxing, resting, enjoying and good meals.
