Religious Education seminar in Pago Pago

Approximately 50 teachers from Nazareth and Mary the Mother Montessori pre-schools, Marist-St Francis and St Theresa elementary schools, and Fa'asao-Marist High School attended a two-day seminar on Catholic schools and religious education. The seminar was conducted by Br Kevin Wanden. The Brothers established a school in American Samoa in 1905. Champagnat Marists have returned to American Samoa at the request of the Bishop to support the mission in that Diocese. Our ministry in the community is to work with and develop the spirituality of local Champagnat Marists and to support initiatives focused on the needs and education of young people.
