United States: Regional gatherings

Regional gatherings were offered in Chicago, Miami, New York/New Jersey and Massachusetts this summer.  Over thirty Marist Young Adults gathered at the Marist Brothers' community in Blue Island for an evening of food and friendship. In Miami a dozen young adults gathered in Tropical Park for an afternoon of games and snacks.  New York and New Jersey young adults began the summer with a barbecue in Esopus and ended the season with a gathering at Erin Sisk's house to celebrate new beginnings. The June gathering in Esopus included a prayer service to celebrate the life of Marcellin Champagnat and the filming of a promotional video for the Marist Young Adult program.  In Massachusetts, Danny Bradley sponsored a "Summer Send Off" at Kenoza Lake in Haverhill.  To view the pictures from the summer events. please visit the photo gallery on the Marist Young Adult website.

Regional sub-committees are in the process of planning additional gatherings for the upcoming semester.  The Marist Young Adult Advisory Committee also met during the summer to plan a calendar of events.
