Drinking at the sources of Marist life

From 16 to 20 July, we followed the summer provincial retreat at ND de l'Hermitage which invited brothers and lay Marists to "drink at the sources of Marist life". There were Marists assembled here from France, Greece, Hungary, Catalonia, Algeria, Paraguay and Bangladesh.

The community of the Hermitage invited us to go to the heart of our  FAITH, look at the reality, discover how God is present in our life and the events of every day. ND de l’Hermitage, La Valla, the shores of the Gier… we enjoyed the use of these spaces with times of prayer, celebration, silence, group sharing, personal time. Together we made the journey and we observed that Marcellin’s dream remains very much alive today.

These days were a beautiful experience of communion, we drank from the sources, and now we go back to our day to day lives where we will have to give witness of living in community, brotherhood, life group…
