Financial Planning for the school year in progress

A meeting of the economes of Marist schools and works of the Province of « Mediterránea » was held in the General House from 5 to 7 October 2010. Its aim was to promote the mutual acquaintance of the participants while sharing common criteria for the financial operation of the educational works for the current school year. As central themes, the participants concentrated on formation in Marist identity, and on the Strategic Plan of the Province. They were also able to touch on practical aspects relating to economy, such as the drawing up of budgets and analysis of some accounting programmes.The General House proved an excellent setting for attaining the proposed objectives. The participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the various services offered by the house and to visit the installations. All were impressed by their warm welcome, as well as by the participation of the Superior General, the Econome General and the Secretary General, with whom they were able to share views in a very pleasant atmosphere.
