Fruitful lives and multiplied horizons

TheII Mission Assembly of the Province of Compostela took place from 20 to 22 September under the motto Fruitful lives, multiplied horizons. Three full days during which we reflected together as brothers and laity on the evangelizing task of our Province.

It was an opportunity to dream about the future of Compostela and, as a family, share with others about the task we carry out every day, the difficulties, the successes  and possible ideas for the next few years.

We had the benefit of the presence and support of General Councillors Antonio Ramalho and Ernesto Sánchez. Their talk « Calls of the Marist world » shed a little more light for us on the work accomplished during the three days.

We also had the chance to hear Pep Buetas who, with his reflection on « Calls of the laity and co-responsibility in the Marist mission », helped us to recall the importance of sharing, experiences and work in common between brothers and laity.

This period filled us with enthusiasm and allowed us to live a time and space where  family spirit, listening and love of the work we do each day were cornerstones. A time when the sense of the Province was reinforced in us and when we felt more strongly  Marist.

It was a privilege to be able to carry out this work together in a comprehensive way, in view of presenting our contributions to the Provincial Chapter to be held from 2 to 5 January in Valladolid.
